What will I get out of a session with Kelly?

  • Learn what it means to experience your anatomy and move more intuitively.
  • Help your nervous system (through learning how your parasympathetic nervous system supports your sympathetic nervous system).
  • Learn how to access inner and outer support and feel more grounded (your relationship to gravity).
  • Become more aware of our patterns and “stuck” places in our body-mind. Touch may be included in this. Somatic Movement can illuminate parts of ourselves asking for care.
  • Learn Embodiment practices and Somatic Movement to help you integrate places in yourself that may feel “disembodied” or “disconnected”.
  • Learn how to work with your mind as well as your body for building more resiliency (how to bounce back from health issues) and dynamic stability (the ability to change from a stable ground).
  • Cultivate more self-compassion and body-acceptance through Embodiment practices.
  • Nurture creativity and pleasure in your body-mind through Somatic Movement.

I believe your body is perfect as it is! Your body’s abilities are perfect. You are not broken and you do not need to be fixed. All of us need help with our body-mind sometimes. We all get stuck. Somatic Movement can help us find new pathways of movement and possibilities.

How does a Zoom session work?

I can offer online instruction into a Somatic Movement practice. You can let me know what you’d like to focus on. Although a session is ideal in person, there is still a lot we can do online! I have been working with clients online and have received positive feedback.

During this time your nervous system may be in flight, fight or freeze. It is only natural to feel fear. Somatic Movement and Embodied practices can help you with modulating your nervous system. This means that although you may continue to cycle through moments of fear and anxiety, learning to “modulate” means that you can keep your energy moving so you’re not stuck in one state.

The flow of the session is up to you. I am there to support your learning about your body. I can offer you personalized sessions that cater to your current needs.

What does an in-person session look like?

I use many different approaches in my work. As well as Somatic Movement Education and Body-Mind Centering® and Yoga, I have a background in Energy Work and Craniosacral Therapy….

In-Person Session Rate is $80 per hour*

Online Session Rate is $80 – $60 per hour sliding scale

E-transfer, PayPal, cash and cheque options available. 24 hour cancellation notice is required to avoid being charged for any missed sessions.

*Payment plans available. I want to value the work I do, but I also wish to make my work accessible for everyone. If you are on disability, unemployed or a person with low income, please send me an email and we can discuss what payment options work for you.
